Ryan Norton is based in Marion, Iowa, and was born in Hiawatha. He has spent his entire 15-year financial planning career serving Eastern Iowa families. He earned his MBA from the University of Iowa and holds the CFP® designation — credentials that reflect both the technical depth and the planning philosophy he brings to every client relationship.

Ryan spent a decade at FSB Investments building a practice around the people and families of the Cedar Rapids metro. In 2026, he founded Clearview Financial Planning to do that work independently and with the freedom to put each client's outcome first.

He has served more than 800 families across Eastern Iowa, working through retirement transitions, Social Security decisions, pension choices, and the quieter question most people carry into his office: am I actually going to be okay?

Beyond the Office

Ryan married his high school sweetheart, and they're raising three kids in the same community where he grew up. He's an avid Hawkeye fan, plays piano, and reads more than most people would find reasonable.
